Stainthwaite Boarding Kennels

Owner: How often will my dog be walked?

Claire: We exercise dogs 3 x daily, either out on a long walk or in the paddock playing with balls and frizbies.

Owner: What time can I drop off/pick up my dog?

Claire: We have set times for this so not to disturb our boarders by popping in and out all day. Our set times are:

am: 8.30 - 10.30   pm: 4-6

Owner: Do I need to bring my own bedding?

Claire: Should you feel more comfortable knowing you dog has his/her favourite blanket or teddybear, then we are happy to use them, however we have more than enough blankets and beds to go around.

Owner: Why do you require my dog to have the Kennel Cough Vaccine?

Claire: We understand that this vaccination can be an unpleasant experience for your pet, however it does not affect most dogs at all other that the odd sneeze after the vaccination has been carried out. You should speak to your vet if you have a elderly dog or a young pup as it can affect them in different ways. In the last 2 years the vets in the Lancashire area have reported that 50% of their patients have been treated for kennel cough, your dog is at risk of catching this virus even at the park.

Owner: Do I need to bring my own food?

Claire: We prefer for your dog to remain on its usual diet so not to cause anymore upset. Should we run out of food we will provide a suitable alternative, which will be added to your final bill.
